To our loyal fans and customers, We have been forced closed by the state of CT after 18 years of business. Our charge…teaching the children too much in a 2 hour time span. We have been forced to license our preschool “gym” as a full time daycare(nursery school). Therefore, we will be changing the plan and goals for Fall 2012. So in sadness we shall put Monkey Business Gym LLC behind us and end an era of fun. We have been given space to finish the last 9 weeks of programs we had left in the fall to finish out our gym classes. Anyone who is enrolled is welcome at any of the classes on the schedule with unlimited make-ups. If you were enrolled for the 2011 fall session and do not know the wheres and whens please email us at monkeybusinessgym@yahoo.com for more details. We will treasure our memories of our children forever. Love to all!

Hi Friends

Kerry and I are looking forward to getting back to our children. The state has given us verbal permission to re-open so we have the wheels in motion however we cannot re-open till everything is in writing and approved by our lawyer.   Please be patient a short time longer and we will re-open for spring 2012 with a great big welcome back /thank you party for all our wonderful loyal families.  The support, letters and love that Kerry, Molly and I have been given has been overwhelming.  I have always said Monkey Business was never about ”business” but family and you have all proved that!!   Thanks Again and we will see you all soon!    Colleen, Kerry, &  Molly

January 5th we will meet with the state and hope to re-open shortly thereafter. Kerry and I (Molly too) miss you all. Please keep the cards and letters coming. St Jude walk

Our team raised over $1000 for the St Jude Give Thanks Walk. Thanks to all who participated and donated. The children and families at St Jude appreciate your help.

We are currently engaged in a dispute with the state over whether our program requires licensing as a Day Care center. It has always been our opinion, supported verbally in conversations with the State, that our program is exempt from the day care licensing requirements. Now, however, the State is of the opinion that that is not the case. We have closed our doors at this time so as to avoid more fines or penalties. It is our intention to work with the State in reopening our program as soon as is possible. In the meantime, we appreciate the patience and support of our families.
 

No Classes

Classes will resume Monday November 7th. The Vendor Fair and Birthday parties will take place as scheduled. This entire week we missed will be made up at the end of the session, no individual make-ups are necessary.
